Hey LIW gals...UPDATED

I have been feeling rather unwedding-ish lately, so I have not been on the boards. A lot has been going on.

First, I am losing my job in two weeks, and now we cannot pay for our wedding & may not be able to take a honeymoon. I am trying desparately to find a bartending gig somewhere for the weekends, but have not had any luck yet. It is a problem b/c I am in school full time & need to make a minimum of $300 each night that I work.

Next, we lost our apartment that we were supposed to move into after the wedding. The owner is selling the house. So now we have no place to live.

Finally, and worst of all, one of my GM & a very very dear freind has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung & spinal cancer. It has just been such a rough time for us.... I think we may have to call off the wedding......

sweetie you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I hope you find a job that can help you both give you the weddings that you both want. Maybe you 2 can scale back some and do something smaller. I will send up some prayers for the healing of the GM. We all go thru our rough times, this too shall pass. Take care and I am sure it will get better.

I'll say a prayer for you. Things will work out somehow. Hold onto your FH now. This time will be a test of the strength of your relationship and a test to see how supportive friends and family can be. I hope for the best for you!
