Hi everyone!

Hey ladies I just signed on to this after a friend recommended that this site was her savior when she got married!!
I got engaged last month and we are RH shopping at the moment...We haven't made a final decision yet but I fell in LOVE with Woodbury Country Club...

Now forgive my ignorance but I am curious about something:
Is it rude to negotiate prices? Or is the price that's given basically the price I'm getting??? I don't know the proper etiquette, is RH shopping like car shopping??? LoL

Also - can any1 recommend a good site for DIY ideas on favors, cutesy things for when I ask bridesmaids to be in the wedding party, etc etc??

Thank you !!

Welcome and Congrats!!!

Def. try to negotiate everything and anything. This site has a lot of great DIY ideas if you want a picture of something post on Brides helping Brides can someone post a picture of a 'DIY cardbox' (or whatever) and people will post pictures so you can get good ideas

definitely try to negotiate prices! also, if you are very interested in WCC, find out when they start construction. I believe they were building condos on some of the property, but maybe that deal fell through, but definitely check that out and ask about it.

You can definitely negotiate prices. When it comes to weddings, EVERYTHING is negotiable

Welcome!
Definetly negotiate prices and any freebies they can throw in :) We got them to go down 3 dollars per person - which i figure is better then nothing, right?
I have no advice on DIY stuff though, since i'm sooo un-creative! Good luck :)

Definitely negotiate - and your flexibility with day of the week, time of the year, and time of the day will give you even better negotiating power!

Definately try to negotiate. You will never know what you can get. I was able to get 2 carving stations thrown in for no extra chg.

definitely negotiate.. & if they won't come down in price try and get them to throw extra stuff in at that price

not sure of any DIY sites... but i made my bridesmaids scrap books to ask them to be in the bridal party... you can also make cards, picture frames, etc.

Good Luck!!
