Hi Girls...(Villa Lombardi's & more)::kinda long
I know I told you I was going to a dinner at Villa Lombardi's on Saturday night and I would let you know how it was. Well--it was SO much fun! The food was great, the service was great, and the place was beautiful! (I wish I had pictures but I forgot my camera![]()
)
I had so much fun that when we went to the bar afterward, the last thing I remember was seeing an old friend and talking to her inside. The next thing I know I'm on the ground outside and all I feel is pain.![]()
Apparently, I thought it would be wise to run up and jump on a friend while he wasn't even looking at me, (therefore he was completely unprepared for it) and I fell to the ground, not even bracing myself, and hit my whole left side, and my head, on the concrete car stop.![]()
All I remember after that was having a crowd around me inside the bar and trying to get up to beat up some guy who was making obnoxious comments about my ring. (its on the smaller side, which I actually preferred, and I love it) and I thought was embarrassing FH. Lucky for him when I got up to kill him, pain went shooting through my back from falling.![]()
So sunday I was achey and hungover all day. I felt a bit dizzy but FH figured it was just hangover.
Monday I open my eyes, and that was about all i could do. I was soooooo dizzy I couldnt even lift my head!![]()
FH called a friend who is in the EIFD with him, and the friend called the FD abulance and they came to my apartment and took me out on a backboard and everything. Talk about embarrassing! All of my neighbors were out staring at me. I felt like such a reject![]()
The hospital said it was a concussion and gave me meds for dizziness and the CT Scan was normal.![]()
thank goodness...I was still there for 8 hours..missed my florist appointment![]()
All because of the drink...![]()
now you know why it rarely happens
p.s. I'm still dizzy. anyone ever have a concussion and know how long it will last? this is my first![]()
