My wedding savings are half of what they should be. Every month there's money I should be saving that is instead wasted. May I had a bridal shower and a birthday. June I had a wedding, a housewarming and a birthday. This month consists of 2 birthdays, 2 housewarmings and a baby shower. Next month its 3 birthdays. Im working 2 jobs so I can save up and pay rent and bills, but its just going to paying for all these gifts. Sorry to be such a bummer, Im all ready having a crappy day. Ugh!

Oh honey, I could have written this myself! I had a few thousand dollars saved, and somehow, I am down to like 2 thousand dollars in there now And I know I didn't use it on wedding stuff! I don't know where the freaking money goes and I am so upset. I need SO much money between now and next July and I really am scared I won't have it. Both JT and I work two jobs, but still, I don't know where all the money goes. And I have FOUR weddings in the TWO MONTHS before mine next year! And I am IN two of them! I lose sleep over this I'm sorry, this probably didn't help you one bit, but you are definitely not alone in the situation, and you know what they say about misery in numbers!....or is that safety?

Oh you can vent all you want because I am sure there are a ton of us in the same boat!!! With us - its not like we can work overtime to get the money we need so we are selling things on ebay to make the $....
I cant sleep at night - I have no idea where the money is coming from but everyone always tells me 'It will work out in the end' so I am hoping and praying thats true!

Thats why we all bond so well
We all dont have $$$$$$$ for our weddings
Every mth i try to pay something to a vendor. I still dont know if it will all be paid by March05
& had to pay taxes this mth tooo
but its got to work out somehow

I hear ya!
We were actually doing well for several months, until we had to shell out $$$ for deposits. That took a nice chunk for savings. FH is going back to school in Sept, and even though I know his company is reimbursing us for it, it throws me into a serious PANIC to see all the $$$ go out the window!

We scrambled for deposits, but luckily made ends meet by the skin of our teeth. But Im just worried about making final payments. Thanks for sharing guys. As bad as this sounds I feel better knowing Im not the only one!!

I dont remember last time we were able to put any money away and the deposits are just killing us but the bills still keep on coming cant remember when was the last time I bought something for myself, at least I am looking to the dinner tomorrow with you girls since I also cant remember last time we went out to eat

Right now we're at the point that last night I hadn't taken anything out for dinner so we had hotdogs - can't even run out to eat. We just started the really tight budget so we won't see any progress until next month - which of course is the month that ALL of the insurance bills come in. i hate this part so much.

I wouldnt switch to geiko, it is not always cheaper and I heard they are really difficult to deal with when something happens.... believe me it is hard enough with good car insurance

I hear ya! Personally I feel like the real kick in the butt is when we finally get our wedding gifts and then you are still shelling out money for the tips. I know our vendors deserve it but its like using your birthday money for rent... it sucks!

dont worry I'm going through the same thing myFH is laid-off from work so it's been really tough for us trying to save I work 2 job's just so I can put some extra$ away hopefully he will get a job soon and then he can help right now we are aorrying about paying rent and the other wonderful bills.
