Hi - Im new!

Hi - Im new and heard that this site was great for wedding advice and tips.
I am starting to look at hall on the island so feel free to suggest anything!

Welcome!! There are so many, it all depends on your price range. Nsgraham has a great budget vendor page... she is quite the bargain hunter.

Oh sorry I forgot to add that my budget is around $200 p/p and we have about 175 guests.

As far as the hall goes, what did you have in mind? Imagine the place you always dreamed of, and take it from there!

And yes, Allure is misleading

I got engaged on valentines day.
We have no idea what we like. I heard john anthony's is beautiful, oheka, places like that.

WIth that budget you have your pic of halls on the isalnd. I don't think many of them go that high. Is the date in your profile accurate?

well thats the absoulte highest we can go. He proposed in the park where we first met 3 years ago. With the most beautiful ring I could ever ask for!
The date in my profile is a date I just picked because I like june and they wouldnt let me register without picking a date.

Welcome! You will have your choice of halls! Try North Ritz Club in Syosset or The Carltun on the Park @ Eisenhower park or the Carlye on the Green.

I also say $200 a plate b/c alot of people I know were telling me I cant get married for much cheaper then that at a nice hall. and I dont want to get married someplace cheesy.
