Just wanted to drop in and say hi! I was initially an 09 bride, but FH's brother in law announced a wedding date that was a week before our unofficial date. We decided to keep the date and change the year!

honesty it depends on what you want... some brides wait, but some brides like to book everything in advance and get a head start....

aww thanks! it's ok, i was disappointed at first but realized everything is for the best. i don't finish nursing school until august 2010 anyway. maybe it's better to wait til it's over! (i figure if i talk the talk i might actually start believing it haha)

I booked the hall. That's it. Haven't done anything else. Figured I have time. At least by getting that done, it gives you an idea financially where you'll be.

Ohh and you're getting married in October, 2010? Well that gives me hope. I wanted to shop around for the RH but thought they weren't even going to be able to book us so far in advance!

They book pretty far in advance, we booked our hall in july of 07.

CONGRATS!!!!!! Maybe wait till the summer if you think its too early; that way it's closer to the 2 year mark? Or, because you want a specific date, maybe now is a good time to do it so you know you will 100% get that date you want.
I don't know about anyone else, but the hall is the only thing I'm working on now; I can wait on everything else for a while.
