First I want to thank everyone that has sent me messages, I havent really been on but I just read them and I will write you back.
My wedding is cancelled. Lorenzo and I have not spoken since he called off everything. I tried to get in touch with him and he has not responded. Ive thought about this everyday, all day long and after all of the horribly mean things he said I cannot forgive him for this. I will never forget it. I feel in a way he knew what he was doing and since I havent heard from him ,it only makes my decision easier. In a way I feel this might be a blessing in disguise for the long run. I would rather this happen now then a year or so down the line. I deserve someone that is going to love me no matter what the situation. No ultimatums and telling me how its going to be. I am so blessed to be surrounded by my family and amazing friends. I am a good person and always put others before myself and now its ME time.
I love you all so much and thank GOD everyday fore this site. I am going to keep my account open and pop in every now and then to say hi. I have a facebook and I would love to keep in touch with as much as you as possible. You can look me up Kerri Nahrwold.

I have gone through the same thing as you 5 years ago. I was engaged with someone I dated for 7 years. We got engaged and he broke it off....the wedding and 7 year relationship in a one page letter saying he met someone else.
I was a mess...a complete mess...if you need to talk im here because i have been there done that. It took me a while but your right...having good friends and family you need most and you will get through it.

I feel horrible that this is happening to you but a part of me is so happy that you are done with this little boy. He doesn't even have the decency or respect to answer the phone or pick it up and be a man and explain himself, then you don't need him at all. You deserve to be treated like a princess with unconditional love and support, not this. Change your number and move on....nobody deserves that, no matter what his 'excuse' may be....you deserve the world and nothing short of that......he is not mature enough to get married and nor is he lucky enough to spend his life with you....
Stay strong and think positive, everything happens for a reason and like you said, it is for the better. We are all here for you if you need to vent or just talk! Stay strong hun and you will get through this.....

Sorry you are still feeling down..but believe me it gets better. I was also with someone for a little over 7 years then I had to break it off because it was not the relationship I deserved. It is hard but get better.
It's good your taking time for you. You will meet an amazing man when you least expect it.

i hate to read this and i hate that you're going through this but i KNOW that you're doing the right thing....you have to be strong now and stick to your guns and soon enough you'll be able to look back at this and realize that this is the best thing that could have happened

Kerri, you'll be fine, it just really hurts right now. If after 3 years he's not ready and he's ok with not talking to you for days at a time, this really just may be a blessing in disguise. You deserve the absolutely best a man has to offer and you should not settle for anything less.
You are still blessed with great friends and family and you need to always remember that the people who love you will always be there for you.
