Yup!!! It's carpool time!!!!

How cute! Good luck! If you find anything good for legal assistants let me know- tho I'm not ready to look yet!

I'll give you my secret to job searching success (my family and my FH can verify I never have a problem finding a job)

Create an email address based on your name and put it on your resume. Proofread your resume and then have 2 other people critique it. You would be surprised at the crap I saw come in as an Office Manager. It is not professional to have a resume that has a contact email address like '[email protected]' or something like that. '[email protected]' is much better!!

Post your resume on every job search website out there. Monster, HotJobs, CareerBuilder. Then search those websites for jobs and send your resume to every job that you are qualified for and are willing to travel to. Keep an open mind. Sometimes the dream job is not where you expect it.

On Sunday check the NYTimes online and pick up a Newsday. Write down every fax number and email address of any job that interests you and send your resume to all of them. There are many free fax programs you can download to fax through your computer if you don't have a fax machine.

I hope this helps!!! If you are looking, this is the time to look!!! People start waiting for their bonuses and to use up their use it or lose it vacation time before they quit. So there will be jobs available!!!
