Forgive me but I forgot who also wanted to know about the cancellation date at the HI of Westbury....
I got an answer. Basically, there is nothing that needs to be done on our end. Our guests have up until the cut off date originally provided to book rooms.
After the cut off date, the rooms will go back into general availability and guests booking after that date will be subject to the standard rates.
The couple is not responsible for paying for any rooms that are not booked and does not need to cancel the block, it is done automatically.
The contract reads a little confusing so I hope this is helpful to whoever needs the info.
