High Centerpieces

What did you pay for your high centerpieces per centerpiece & what florist did you go with? Also post a pik if you can. Thanks

I went with pedestals and this was their price range that they had told me. Most of theirs do start at $125 but i paid more for each CP since I had calla's, orchids and branches

really because i have calla's orchids & hydrangeas & they quoted e $125 but i have at least 20 cp's otherwise it was 150/175- maybe because im feb i got it for that. But im also Vday the busiest flower day of the year. Besides mom's day lol

I had 22 cp's but when i had booked with them we originally said 25 cp's after guest list it ended up being 22 cp's. I heard they recently changed their pricing and now all cp's are the same price not sure how true this is but i heard a few girls on here say this.

I booked them in march of 07 so maybe its changed since then, i wish they were $125 when i booked lol

Wow i cant believe that. I also now that my guest list is complete will need 22 CP's. I think it maybe my time of year. Vday or not. lol Because if Kristina got quoted 175 i dont think they made a set price.

maybe it is bc its february. I know v-day is more expensive but for roses. When I got flowers for my e-party it was around v-day, it was after but order had to go in around that time. The other flowers were less but they told me if i wanted roses then thats what would cost more.

Yes thats true. I also have roses in my CP's with the callas hydr. & the orchids & all of my bok's are roses. So i have no idea. lol Im so confused im just happy i got what i got. lolSorry Kristina if this confused you even more. lol thought i could help lol lol

No it helps V - no worries.

My problem I think is that i like untraditional things lol. Denise did you work with Phil? he was mentioning a wedding and now that I think about it it may have been yours! I didn't realize you used pedestals until now.

They did tell me it was because of my ideas. 12 of each type of centerpices and I asked for some cymbidium orchids, etc. Mixed with other stuff of course. I found Pedestals to be so creative though. They did give me a great price on personal flowers though so maybe it evens out in some way.

I wish I had cheaper taste. I wanted 12 branch in a vase type centerpeices with tea lights, some orchids, etc. and 12 more traditional flower pieces mixing shades of blue, green and white. Not a ball style but more a loose style. I loved the guy I met with though. So creative. I just wish the $$$ was a bit lower. Maybe I can try to change the flowers or something.

lol I understand i wanted a very whimsical look as well not a ball. & thats what im getting. As you have read i have all differen types of flowers but the type that end up being expensive. I have the orchids in the tall glass vase submerged in water. I justthink i got lucky for tiem of year. vito said they would normally run 150/175 but he said he gaveme the discount because i have alot 22cp's. No idea. Hope you fnd what you love! And at a great price.

no didnt use phil used nadia. But its so funny bc 2-3 weeks ago I went to a wedding at tribeca rooftop, which reminds me that i have to post the pics bc he did the cp's and WOW they were amazing and not tradition. He knows the groom too she he attended the wedding and he came up to me and DH and asked if we just got married in May and we said yes, he told us who he was. I didnt meet him when i went to pedestals but it was so nice that he even knew who we were and that we used him. HE said he saw the pics and he also knows AG and she showed him pics. He was real nice.

You should check out Flower Michele. He gave me great quotes on branch centerpieces but I ended up with these....

yeah i told him i was using Ag and he actually knew her from his gym or something. small world. i am going to check put a few more florists and decide. wish i didnt like the guy so much!

here are pics of what Phil did for the wedding at tribeca rooftop. The couple had different style cp's. They had this huge and i mean larger than normal high cp's with these red flowers that i dont know what type of flower it is and branches, also had red rose cp, and some tables had 2 different size vases with red calla's and a smaller cp next to the 2 vases, you cansort of see it in one of my pics but the flash is covering the calla's. Also along the edges around the window theyhad cp's

Also phil told me he did the hanging crstal things over the dance floor, it was gorgeous

yeah he told me he mostly does weddings and other events in the city and works out of the city office, not so much LI. Is that where you met with him?

He met me in LI although it seems that he didn't do too many appts - I think he is an owner. I called and let them know a close friend of his reccommended him and they set it up for me. My sister used someone else there but I have no clue who.
