High or low centerpieces

I am not sure with the wood beams high centerpieces would work.
I am going to florists tomorrow and don't want to bother getting pedistal quotes if they will not look good.

Jenny, keep it low, there is alot going on in that room. The centerpieces will get lost, JMO

I used light flowers so it would brighten the room up.

I think Low is better as well.

The ceilings look rather low so a high centerpiece may not compliment it.

I did beiges, light greens and whites flowers

linens I did, cream on white with white napkins.


its all your preference, I dont really care for colored table clothes and napkins

All roses in their centerpiece would look really pretty. i thought of it after.

Are you using their centerpieces but different flowers?

I just don't know
My color scheme is rose and marroon, and ivory.

I want to see what the florists off as centerpiece price and then I will decide.

I love candles, so I am thinking I might use their candelabras and upgrade to all roses.

I called the house florist and (he did not sound too eager to bet my business, even when I brought up upgrading the flowers = more money for him), he said taek care of my flowers first and then call him to see what flowers I want, then we'll give me a quote.

If you look REALLY closelt in the picture lower right corner you can see. They are silver candleabras.

i think low in that room is better.

also my cousin had high bulky cp and we could not have a conversation with the person we were across from. DH and I hated it. We had low ones at ours and it seemed to work better for our guests.

I vote low as well. If you use their candelabra's you could do posey (posie?) arrangements...small (even individual, if you like) pieces for each table. That could look really pretty.

Low is my vote - the wood gives the illusion of a lower ceiling. I like the second arrangement - perhaps a couple of red roses in those can bring out the marroon in your scheme...

Yes, I like the 2nd better too, with a few of the top darker ones, and marroon ones too. Wacky had a point about making them light to brighten up room.
