I want to do high centerpieces but to be cost effective I was thinking of doing high/low. Has anyone seen or attend a wedding that use a mixture of both? How did it look?

That's what I may do. I went to a wedding that had all different centerpieces and it was amazing.

This is what I'm doing. My cousin actually had a high, medium and low, but I don't have any good pics. It was really pretty though!!

i've seen them and it looks nice...here's some pics
I think its nice and it breaks up the room a little. You could put tall candles around the low centerpiece and small canldes around the tall one!

I think MissK on the 08 boards is doing both. Alternating between tables. That is only if my memory isn't completely shot!!!!

i like both! I went with high centerpieces only because they were only $25 more per centerpiece than the low ones

I never thought to do that but I think it's a great idea. The pics people posted looked great. Did your florist recomend it? They usually know what they are talking about!

I'm doing high/low also. we kinda had too, we'll have over 20 tables and it gets crazy expensive! But our florist showed us pics of them and we LOVED it!!

Re: High/Low Centerpieces
i did both as well, and loved it. Saved a little money but it also broke up the room a bit and gives more unobstructed views of what's going on, so I recommend it. Also the *low* centerpieces are a LOT easier to take home at the end of the night!!!! We had a lot of high ones left over because folks couldn't quite figure out if they'd fit in their cars!!

That is exactly what my florist told us. We are doing highs and lows which I think (and hope) will look nice.
