National Anthem= Pledge to me... its a significant part of our country and for someone who is running to lead our country who doesnt want to do that is just not 100% going to get my vote... that being said the pledge has already been taken out of some schools etc. (not that it has anything to do with obama) but it is already starting to fade out, and I want someone who is going to be 10000% USA proud to be an american leading our country.... and I personally do not think that is him!

I'm not voting for Obama.

I'm just saying that it's not 'required' for you to put your hand over your heart for the Anthem.

It just irritates me that things like that get circulated and people end up believing every thing they see and read.

Don't help spread the falsehood.

ok I have a right to believe whatever I want.. and in every post I have said PERSONALLY- we are not going to see eye to eye on this so I am just going to stop now because someone cant play in the sandbox with the rest of the kids

I don't think living in the white house qualifies as having white house experience...but I do think she has a shot. Both her and Obama are senators and did alot of community work before entering politics....I think they have about a 50/50 shot.

You know what my FFIL said that made me so angry? That he'd vote for her only b/c it would mean Bill would physically be in the white house, and she'd probably ask him for advice. W T F is that? Would anyone ever say that about a man? 'Oh I'm voting for Obama b/c his wife will nearby, and she gives good political advice.' So insulting.

i hear this ALOT...i hear people tell me the reason they'll vote for Hillary is because of bill and he'll tell her what to do

Was there a full moon out last night and tonight?? It seems people are just ruthless on here lately!

I personally can understand if she runs people the wrong way after the debate but....look up what she plans on doing..I'm a NYC teacher and I know she already has plans for us, what is in YOUR best interest??? and base it on that.

I'm just going to say that from my experience most people (not all) who 'don't like' Hilary don't even know why they don't like her, and I find that pretty stupid and uninformed. Many of you girls may know, politically, why you won't vote for her but honestly, most don't. They see her as an opinionated woman (which is apparently the worst thing you can be) who stayed with her husband after he cheated.

IMO, she has ACTUAL White House experience, she is probably better suited for the job then any candidate out there since she sat second to a man who was actually president, the fact that she's a woman comes second in my mind to the fact that SHE'S NOT A REPUBLICAN.

That alone will get her my vote.

i agree that people should not hate her because she is opinionated, and definitely not a reason to hate anybody

same as people who would vote for her because she is a woman.

i think what matters is the issues, what they plan to do, how they will change things.

NEVERMIND i skipped over page 2 by accident...i thought i clicked on page 2 after i finished reading page 1 and thought this was page 2 lol, i saw a few comments...didnt realize it was page 3

people just said they are not voting for hillary, which no reason for a person to get mad...the same way i wouldn't get mad at a person who is not voting for the same person as me. Theres nothing wrong with that and everybody is entitled to like whichever candidate they like.

Sorry i just didn't understand at all how anybody was ruthless on here, nobody said anything mean to anybody. If you vote for her then that is great and i would never tell you otherwise, i would say please vote for the person whom you believe is the best candidate, but at the same time don't think anybody should tell me who i think is the best candidate. Again thats not to start an arguement because I don't care to do so. I respect you for your views and your right to choose whomever you feel is best qualified for the position, even if it is different than me. Just think i think everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

ETA: my original post was too long winded.

I think the nominees will be Clinton and Romney.

I don't want to vote for either.

Ok, so I'm not going to give my personal opinion of anyone, but things I've heard ABOUT the candidates! ha!

Living up in Massachusetts I certainly get a lot of opinions about Mitt Romney!!! He's LOATHED by the republican party pretty much. Seen by his colleagues as a liar. Started with the hunting thing, continues through a lot of other issues.

My FH's buddy in school is on Huckabee's campaign. He's seen as a likeable guy. Ultra religious. Still kind of the unkown to a lot of people. His religious overtones will gain him support of the bible belt and south, but unlikely to win over voters who are sick of conservative values. Would ABSOLUTELY be the dems #1 favorite candidate to win against. Would be easily beatable by either Obama or Clinton.

Guiliani is finished if he doesn't win in Florida. Never picked up steam after NH or Iowa.

McCain is seen by his party as a traitor and NOT as a republican. A lot of people w/in the party think he's soft on illegal immigration, the war, and other issues republicans hold close to them. I also think that if he doesn't get the nomination he will become an independent or a democrat.

If I had to choose who would win the nomination for the repubs I'd say Romney (has most delegates right now).

For the dems Clinton. Obama is popular now, but he doesn't have the name recognition, the experience, or the big guns (money, research team, strategists, etc.) that the Clintons have behind them. and Edwards can't compete with the other two's money.

For me - I say none of the above. I honestly have never been so disinterested in a political race since I've been old enough to vote.

While I think Obama is the best speaker/motivator/idealist of the bunch, I would never ever vote for him. His inexperience and his lack of FIRM stances on the issues is troubling.

I dunno. I honestly don't see a 'hero' in any of these people.

Bonnie before finishing reading your inlightening post (seriously it was) I was like OMG I don't think I am that interested in voting for anyone in this race. I agree I really do not see such a hero in any of these candidates. But thanks for the info about them!!!!
