Hipocrite

Right now Im stressed. I'm sure that everyone can relate to doing a million things at once, plus planning ur wedding.

Im glad there is a website where I can vent. Yoiu see Im in the process of moving in with my FH and I would like to take my things in my room, I sked my father and he said yes.

Now a month later he tells me I can't take my bed and all because it's his.

Help, what should I do? Leave the furniture there and just by new or talk to him. I don't care about most of it, but I just want my bed

Re: Hipocrite

When I moved out I bought my own bed. They bed in my old house was my parents. They never told me I oculdn't but I just feel that way.

If you really want it I woud talk to him (esp. since he told you otherwise before), but honestly if he paid for it it is his!

Re: Hipocrite

It all depends on your relationship with your dad, is he sad/angry that youre leaving the house before you get married ?
You know your dad, if he may budge and let you take it, talk to him, and see why he's making a stink over a bed..thats silly ! (maybe he really IS sad and resentful !) But if he really does want to keep it, then let him and get something inexpensive, since you and FH will be getting your own bedroom set when you get married anyway.
All you need is a bedframe and a mattress...

Dont sweat the small stuff ! Good Luck !

Re: Hipocrite

I say buy a new bed, this way your dad will feel like his 'little girl' is still at home and they can use it for guests.
