historic (and affordable) RH venues - help please!

Hi! Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an affordable historic RH venue for an Oct 2013 wedding. So far we've looked into Thatched Cottage (love it!), and Bourne Mansion (too expensive!). Anyone know of any other reasonably priced historic venues? Thanks!

Well Floral terrace is a 1930's theater converted to a ball room...I don't know if you would be interested in something like that.

I'm a little biased towards Thatched Cottage ;)

i think the woodlands might be more affordable as i dont think they have a site fee. you may want to consider a sunday afternoon or friday evening to cut down on the costs too. or - as my friends did on july 3rd, get married a day before a holiday

Floral Terrace is awesome, but they have a 200 minimum.

The Woodlands is historical, plus I think they are the most affordable of all the Mansions (no site fee) and for a Friday night in prime season I thought they came in about average with every other place we looked at. I remember correctly, you may need to gaurantee more than 120 for Woodlands for a Friday and definitely for a Saturday. Not sure about Sunday.

Desevesky's room holds about 100-120 people but IMO they are on the pricey side.

that is sad that was a gorgeous building such a shame. Does anyone have pricing for the woodlands for September october 2014?

I looked at the Woodlands and for a Friday in July 2014 it was $125++.

The Woodlands is on a Golf Course though. So I don't know if you would like that. One of the holes was very close to the outside area for the cocktail hour/reception.

Woodlands in May (2013) was 110++ (Friday night). October may be similar to May. September is probably similar pricing to July.
