Its been a while - I figure its time for an update.
The past month has absolutely flown by...I feel like we skipped June!!!![]()
Where to start......ok....For the first time in my [very nearly done] college career, I earned straight As in 6 courses. My first 4.0 everrrr!!! It only took 3 or so years![]()
I'm usually a solid B student.
I've been working nearly 50 hours a week and saving as much as possible for the wedding. I know its still far away, but I can't help thinking that we'll be unprepared...so I'm OVERpreparing!![]()

LIW is now blocked from my job, so I'm hardly ever on here. I guess I abused it![]()
LIF works fine, and I'm going to try out NYCW tomorrow.
When I'm not working, I've been trying to help FH find a better job for September. He's really unhappy where he is (in Elmont), and its so sad, because he is a GREAT teacher. I just wanna![]()
him all the time because I feel so badly for him. His commute is terrible, his administrators were terrible, and they really don't give him enough credit over there. He keeps interviewing, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!
We took our engagement photos with Dom from Twelfth Night on Wed, June 14th. It wasn't such a nice day, but you would never know it from the pics. I'm very happy with how they came out. We wanted these pics to be very casual...we're taking a more formal set in late October. I posted some of our favorite pics (there were 90!![]()

I feel like I'm in a wedding planning lull. I have most of the major vendors (church, hall, photo, video, music) done already, and I don't want to move too quickly with the remaining few. I already have my CPs, so I only need a florist for BoKs, bouts, and corsages. I think I'm going to search fora local florist to do that for us. Our church will already be full of flowers for Thanksgiving. A family friend is a hairdresser that specializes in updos, so that's settled already too. I'm thinking of taking my time the rest of the summer and looking at gowns and BM gowns, and researching makeup artists. I already know what my favors are, and know where to buy them. The liquor store won't be running out of wine anytime soon, so again, I feel its too early to act!![]()
We're leaving reallllllly early Friday morning for a week of PURE RELAXATION!![]()
My family rented a beach house just south of Myrtle Beach for the week. FH & I are taking a day trip to Charleston and possibly scoping out places to live (if we have time). ![]()
