ok i know you said no cruises but this is what we are doing
5 nights in all inclusive Couples Resort in Negil Jamaica
fly to LA and stay 1 night
Sunday to Sunday cruise to Mexican Riviera (cabo san lucas, mazatlan, puerta vallarta)
i think its 13-14 days that we are away..
we're paying about $7200 (all accommadations and airfare)

Long story short but the time share my mom was giving us is probably not going to work out so now i am fed up and have decided that we are probably going to have to pay for our hm ourselves
so if you don't mind sharing - where are you staying, how much are you paying, and what does that include?
I don't want to do a cruise or sandels and i want somewhere in caribbean no Hawaii

the same exact thing might be happening to me. the timeshare for us might not work out either. we still wanna go to hawaii but we cant afford it. we might do a cruise if thats the case and maybe 5 days or so in one of the caribbean islands

Friends of ours did Greece.
They did Santorini, Athens, and Crete, I believe they payed about 7k for the whole thing/

BEcause HM are so prices what we are doing is taking a couple days and most likly driving up to vermont for few days ( i love taking long drives) then on our 1 year we will be going to europe maybe a two week think ( my mom told us to take 3weeks lol)in greece or italy or both the due some deal i know with both that way can spend more money there (the shopping in Italy is amazing i heard) and due things really over the top because the wedding will be paid for i want to fly first class

We're going on the celebrity solstice cruise for a week. the ship is gorgeous. and then we are going to stay in miami for a couple days...

FH and I are going to cancun...we have been there b4 and it is amazing...we are not sure of the price its getting worked out right now but i honestly think your best bet it to go to a travel agent around you and tell them what kind of place you want and what your budget is and they will find different places for you to go and you can choose from that

We are going to Greece, but I LOVE the Dominican Republic. There are some really nice all inclusive resorts, and it's a lot cheaper than other places in the Caribbean. Plus, the beach is BEAUTIFUL!

ITA. I have been to DR three times. I HIGHLY recommend Punta Cana over any other place in DR. The beaches are gorgeous. And Punta Cana is worth the extra money. One of my favorite places to stay is Melia Caribe Tropical. Check it out.

I have gone to Iberostar's Punta Cana resort in the DR and it was nice. The beach was nice and the spa services were really good...Plus its an all inclusive so that will definately help out on cost...

FH and i went last year to DR and had a great time we went to purta plata, also the bahamans i went a few years ago with my sis and friend had the best time every we said at breezes ( i know its like sandels) but it was so beatuiful there
