For those of you going all inclusive, where are you going and what resort are you staying at? I just want to cover all bases before I book my HM

For those of you who are going (or have already been) to Sandals St Lucia Golf and Spa Resort, what rooms would you recommend?

We are going to the new Sandals resort. Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. It is supposed to be amazing!

Now I didn't go myself, so I can't give too much information, but I just want to share b/c I know I always want to know as much as I can before booking anything.
But, two of our close friends (our best man and one of our groomsmen) both went to Sandals St Lucia for their hm in the end of 2003 and were very disappointed. Our best man's wife told me the food was fine, nothing great and they didn't like that everything was buffet. The rooms were fine, but again nothing great and the pools were a bit 'cheesy' to them, which was what I thought based on pictures and the website. Our gm and his wife were very disappointed in the food and didn't think that Sandals overall is very classy. Both couples said they wouldn't go back.
Now, I don't want to upset anyone going because I've also heard great reviews on here about Sandals. I just wanted to post what I've heard so you could have the information when making your decision.

Secrets Resorts in Punta Cana Dominican Republic....it was PERFECT....

Hey, I was just about to recommend for BriBri to look at your post! I second the recommendation for Secrets Excellence. It is so romantic! There are areas on the beach that are completely secluded you feel like you are on a private island. Also, adults only!! The food is really good and the alcohol is all top shelf. If you FM me your e-mail address, I can send you our pics from when FH and I went last year.
