I wore both, we were on a pretty safe Island though. I only left them in the safe when we went snorkeling.
My FBIL lost his ring in the ocean on his HM so I would be careful about bringing it- leave it in the safe if you are going to the beach at all.

I wore both my rings during our HM. When I was going in the water or on a snorkeling trip, I just left them both in the safe in our room.
I'm going to wear just my wedding band. I figure I can leave my e-ring at my ILs house and it will be completely safe, as they have a 160-lb mastiff that guards the house. We're going on a tour of Italy, so we won't be doing many water activities. But I figured being in a foreign country, I should leave my most valuable jewelry safe at home.
I wore both. I never thought for a second not to.
I hardly ever take my E-ring off, so I am going to wear both rings.
I wore both my rings and DH wore his wedding band. During the day, we put our rings in the hotel safe in our room, since we didn't want to wear them on the beach. We put our rings on after we showered and whenever we were going places.
I wore both and did not have any problems.

I actually bought fakies, but then decided to wear my real ones...I made sure the hotel had a safe that I could leave them in during the day at the beach. It ended up being very secure, and worked out great!
As with my e-ring...once that wedding band goes on my finger..it's not coming off! Both will be insured.

Fiance and I went to Aruba last year, and I wore my E-ring the entire time. The only time i took it off was to sleep and shower and both times it was in the room with me. I swam in the ocean, worked out in the fitness center, went to restaurants and shows, shopping etc. It stayed on the entire time and I never worried.
I'm planning to wear both every day in St. Lucia. I would never think not to. Also, remember that most hands swell in heat, so it should fit tighter if anything, provided youre going someplace warm.
Unless your ring is like 1.5 carats or more, why worry about it getting stolen? We live in New York!!
never really thought about this! when FH and i went on vacation last May to cancun, i wore my e-ring just about the entire time. but there might have been once or twice that i locked it inside the room safe. but i swam, snorkelled, and even swam with dolphins wearing my e-ring!

The idea is, unless you have a ring that will actually draw unnecessary attention from unsightlies that's a cause for legitimate concern, you should wear the rings and be proud of them.
I was engaged before and had a larger stone than now to the point I was paranoid about it being stolen on a train or bus. Especially if you're going to a place where there are a lot of other honeymoon couples, I don't understand why a woman would leave her ring(s) home because she believes she would become the target of a theft/robbery. I don't think that's a hard line of reasoning to understand. I have a moderate sized stone and I wear it on weekends, on the bus, train, gym, etc. I couldn't imagine leaving it home on my honeymoon??

FH & I have been arguing over this for months!!!!! He wants me to leave rings at home because he read in a guide book that Rome has gangs of underage kids that prey on tourists.I don't want to take them off less than a week after we're married.
I'm considering a compromise by leaving e-ring at home, because if anything happened I would never hear the end of it.
Darlene, I totally hear you, except he is the one pushing me to wear both. I'm not wanting to take rings off, but also a bit scared. We're going to Rome, as well. Thinking of maybe leaving in room those 2 days?
