so now that my shower date is set, am i supposed to add 'cheaper' gifts to my registry (things in the $50-100 range)? or do i just keep the registry as-is (which has a few things in that range anyhow)
thanks

I like to add stuff because a. I like to shop and b. I think it's better to have a variety.

you should have things in all ranges... cheap, decently priced, and expensive

I'd add items of all prices to your registry. My most expensive thing is my vacuum, sheets, and plates (150 each). The cheapest are kitchen stuff that costs a few dollars.

i have the medium and expensive (and super-expensive) items already ... i don't really have cheap items
i think i have one 'cheap' item which is a $10 napkin holder. so should i be adding small things?
i don't really NEED anything for the house so it's hard to find cheaper / small items.

Re: hmm ... do i add to my registry now?
I registered for my big ticket items as well as towels, sheets and a bunch of kitchen gadgets so I could replace my old stuff with new. Many people bought me several low ticket items and packaged them together so they could find a cost to suit their budget. One of my fave lower ticket items: Riedel sells their glasses in packs of two for under $25.
Oh, and new cutting boards, spatulas, wooden spoons...

I would just make sure you have enough mid-range priced items.......$40-80...of course, add more expensive thigns as well, but I have noticed that things in those price ranges tend to go first

ITA. i think the $50-$100 range is most important. I tried to avoid putting things for less than $30 on my registry bc I personally prefer to buy people one nice thing rather than a collection of stuff.
