I'm definitely going to delete this in a few minutes so that nobody who googles my name finds this....

No it's possible. It happened to me once and I got soo scared. I thought I was pregnant or got some of kind of infection because you get a sharp pain.

They say its sometimes caused if you dont work it out. And by that I mean so kegel exercises. you know the one where you hold it like you have to pee.

i say. . .call the GYN ASAP

there is a lot of sensitive stuff going on down there and you dont want to mess around with that stuff. . .

I'm a pretty frequent gyno visitor and maybe you'd even say harrasser of my gyno (lol).

Speaking of which, as a coincidence, I have my 6 mos checkup TOMORROW.

But, this doesn't really feel like 'that' kind of problem - it's the outer area.

Yep it sounds like a pulled muscle. Just be safe and call your gyn. I did and told her my symptons. The pain didnt go away right away - more like 3 days. IT hurt everytime I sat or moved my leg to much.

What your describing is exactly what is going on. I'm going to the gyno tomorrow by coincidence for a checkup anyway, so lucky me!
