Ho-Jo hotel jericho tpke westbury??

Hi Gals,

There used to be a howard johnson hotel on jericho turnpike in westbury just where you make the turn to Brush Hollow Road. The hotel has been closed down and it appears they are rebuilding. does anyone know anything about this like when it might be reopening and is it still going to be a HoJo or something else?
No one seems to know so i thought i'd check here.
Thanks.

But there is a big new building there with a big glass window in front...in an arch.

Is that going to be part of Hampton Inn?

I pass there every day going to work....

That other building is going to be a Chrysler/Jeep showroom....that's what I heard.

OK...now that you mention it, it does look like it could be a car showroom.....

I work right over there...I think it may be a Hampton Inn...they are currently renovating the place. There was a protest some months ago and all along Jericho Turnpike we saw signs about Hampton Inn in relation to the renovations.

Do we know when this hotel is supposed to be open?? Just wanted to know if it's a place I can use for my OOT guests.
