Just curious is anyone having a holiday wedding like memorial day or july 4th? And if so is it more affordable?

We saved SO MUCH having our wedding on July 3rd, but it was kind of timed perfectly in that our date falls on a Thursday. So we got lower quotes and people will still have a 3-day weekend after!

The Sunday before Martin Luther King Day we got pretty great prices and most people have off that Monday so in turn it's like a Saturday.

Although we originally wanted New Years Eve which was way more expensive... just a little food for thought

We are having ours the day after New Years (Jan 2) and it was the cheapest price for that month, compared to other Friday nights in January. it works out too since New Years falls on a Thursday, our wedding is a Friday, so hopefully most people will just take Friday off for the excuse of a 4 day weekend!! :)
