Holy cr@p! A bird just flew into my office!

I just almost had a heart attack! I'm deathly afraid of birds, and one just got into ur newsroom and of course, made a bee line for my head. I think I scared the sh!t out of the whole newsroom because I flung my chair into the person behind me and ran away screaming!

I was totally freaked out. They got it trapped in one of the meeting rooms and when I went to peek at it through the window it flew right at me and smacked into the glass!

somone finally caught it and released it outside, but my heart is still pounding and I feel a little sick.

I can totally relate!

I am scared to death of birds also, I would have freaked out as badly as you did ,probably worse!

When I was a kid a bird got into our basement somehow and we could not get it out.. I was terrified.. it scarred me for life , I'm telling ya

I know it sounds pretty stupid, but I really am deathly afraid of them. They just freak me out. I don't mind them so much from a distance or if they're in a cage, but I hat eit when they're anywhere near me. I especially hate pigeons. They're disgusting!

Do you know what kind of bird it was? I forget what faith it was, but some faith believes it to be a sign of good luck - depending on the bird.

It was a little sparrow. In and of itself, I suppose it was kind of cute, I just don't want it anywhere near me.

sparrows are good luck, if I remember correctly. I think it's crows you have to worry about.

Ever since I saw part of that movie The Birds from the 1960s, I can definitely relate to being afraid of birds.
