Holy! What a weekend! With pics!
Well, for those of you who remembered, this weekend was jam packed with lots of vendor shopping and I am proud to say I have four vendors booked and ready to go!
First and foremost, for any newbies out there, please always be careful what you post on these boards because although we'd like to trust all of liweddings vendors, unfortunately with the multitude that we saw this weekend some of them 'slipped' with information they would've gained from 05 website. So ALWAYS be careful, just as a rule of thumb.
Okay, so we booked Vinny with High Voltage, Duet Photographers, and of course, Flowers by Michele. Due to this website, there have been so many positive reviews about them all, I think I went into it with a narrow mind![]()
It was neat, every DJ really had their own 'strengths' that they brought with them to every meeting adn was really impressed wtih all of them: Music by Michael, Tommy Tunes, and High Voltage. Duet was by far, the only place we wanted and my gosh, they were incredibly artistic in their albums that we booked them on the spot. As for flowers, John from Flowers by Michele, well, the minute you sit down you pretty much book him because he's amazing.
Then there was hair and make-up. I went to Hair Genie and Oksana first which are the first set of pictures you see with teh updo. Such wonderful and nice girls that really take their art very seriously and are extremely talented. You girls really are very smart when it comes to these women because they really are great to work with! I went to Jacqueline Nicole and fell in love with her, she is just so warm and easy to get along with, plus, she does the airbrushing which I love (the set with my hair down and some 'bling' on) so I booked her because it'll be nice to be around her the morning of. My mom is wanting me to try her beautician so hair is still up in the air.
