I think I have the flu.. Im going to try to see a dr . Im getting married in 11 days!!! I dont have time to be in bed

Drink lots of fluids. If I couldn't get an appointment and had the day off I would just show up as a walk-in. I've never seen a dr to turn people away. You just have to wait for them squeeze you in.

Im home sick today again but i feel so much better than yesterday! I drank theraflu yesterday 3x and that seemed to help alot!

I was able to see the doctor, they had a cancellation... I have a sinus infection, swollen glands and a stomach virus

oh no...thats awful
Good thing you went to the doctor even though i know that its such a pain to go. Get lots and lots of rest!

UPDATE

So after seeing the doctor and finding out that I had sinus infection, swollen glands and stomach virus, he told me to stay out till Thursday.. I have a note from him.. Come to find out a little while ago my boss was pissed I was out, and told people me calling out really affected the department.. And that she was walking around all mad... I will be furious tommorow if I go in and they give me shi* for being out!!

You can tell them to shove that Doc's note so far up their...well ya know...lol they really should not be making you feel bad or holding you accountable for anything that went wrong in their department, youre only human, and yes you get sick too! You dont deserve to listen to any of their crap about you being absent at work. Just let it go in one ear and out the other then smile and say, 'Thank you for being so understanding'
