Homemade edible favor idea

Homemade edible favor idea

I came up with an idea for a really pretty and unique edible favor, but I don’t have the time to do it myself, so I thought I’d share it here.

I was planning to do a mini cake, using these NordicWare pans from Williams-Sonoma that are flower shaped. Using regular cake mix, and dusting them with powdered sugar. Then I was planning to put them on a doily in a small cake box, throw in a couple of jordan almonds, and close the box with a personalized label. I estimated the cost, including everything for the cake (3 pans, eggs, oil, powdered sugar, etc), and it’s less than $2 a favor. You could even use food coloring to tint the cakes to match your wedding colors!

I really did want to do this, anyone I’ve told about it thought it was a cool idea, but labor intensive. If you can get your mom or BMs to help, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Just wanted to put that out there!
