Homewrecker?

Re: Homewrecker?

That's AWESOME! LOL!

Also, just because the women are all parishioners it doens't mean that the church is actually supporting or sanctioning this group. I looked ALL over MV, esp around the church and I did not see ONE sign, so someone took them down

I'm still not crazy about this. As someone pointed out, this woman could have been reeled in by the guy who said, 'Hey baby, I'm single. Let's do it.' The woman named on the flyer could totally sue, I would think.

Now that I see it's ONE woman who has had her home wrecked I feel a little bit differnetly about it. My oringla picture in my head was a women who preyed on many husbands

true the church may not be supporting this...but i still wouldn't want to be at church gathering with these woman...I think they went a bit to far. No one knows the other woman's side of the story...and it does take 2 to tango.

This is sad. No wonder the husband cheated. You have to have low self esteem to involve yourself in something like this.

If my husband cheated I could care less about the other woman. I would bang my DH head out. He took the vows not the other woman.

Re: Homewrecker?

I don't think it's fair to say 'no wonder her husband cheated' That is seriously the most unfair and hurtful thing to say. But my opinion has changed, My first impression was completely different, after seeing that poster it seems really completel personal and vindicitive. I thought it was a group of women whose husbands had all slept with this woman and she was a predator or sorts, sleeping with one man doens't make her an angel, but it doens't prove that

Personally, I think the most unfair and hurtful thing is the fact that this flyer even exists!
What happens between a husband and a wife is just that, between the husband and the wife! If he sleeps around, it's no one's fault but his. To single out this woman for humiliation because she slept with a married man, and blame her for the affair is disgusting

I am beyond words. This is too much...it is like a modern day witchhunt

Why not just slap a big red 'A' on her chest!!! I understand the anger, but I think this flyer reflects rather poorly on the women who thought this was a good idea.

My MIL showed me a flyer that is posted all over Glendale and Middle Village announcing some woman (and her name) is a homewrecker and the women of MV who attend Our Lady of Hope have formed a group called 'Housewives of Hope' uniting against this woman. The flyer states to 'Guard Your Husbands'... Has anyone else seen these? How sick is that? It's like something you would see on Tv...

WHAT- no I live in Glendale, but I haven't seen it. Now I'm curious and wanna go check it out. Does it have the woman's name/address? That's nuts, but she deserves it 100% if it's true. He's obviously to blame also, but if a woman gets involved w/ a man who she know is married, in my book she's just a W-H-O-R-E. Sorry for being so blunt.

Re: Homewrecker?

do these woman not realize that a woman cannot be a homewrecker unless the man allows it!!!!!! If the husband was truly happy it would never happen and i am speaking as a wife(now ex wife) who was cheated on
