Homewrecker?

Re: Homewrecker?

I think you can be good and honest AND give people what they deserve

Also, they may really want to warn other women. When you're going through something horrible you don't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing. I think it's partially motivated by revenge and partially motivated by a desire (possibly misguided) to help/warn other wives in the community

I do see your point, but really should any woman with an honest husband need to be warned? I would trust my husband with a stripper on his lap offering him sex, because we took vows and I know he would abide by them. If you need to be warned to keep the woman away from your man, IMO there's something really wrong with the marriage and it just may be ruined already.

I think it's pathetic that a CHURCH group feel the need to 'guard' their husbands.

A home can't be wrecked by only 1 woman.

And yes, having been through this, I blame the man MORE than the woman - he's the one with the wife and kids at home.

Exactly, who cares about the woman, she's has no responsibility in that-she's free to date whomever, it's the husband that's breaking his vows...I can't stand woman who find out thier husband is cheating on them and then blame the woman, and do nothing about the husband. Throw his *** out-give his clothes to good will, have the church lynch mob post pictures of his face all over town!

Well of course. Most women will ignore the poster. If I heard something similar about somsone at my Fh's company or something, we'd probably laugh about it.... but if a marriage IS in trouble, sometimes it can be reconciled, but then another woman comes along and ruins that chance (not that the woman singlehandedly ruins the chance, but the realtionshup wiht her or the temptation). So women who are in troub;ed relationships MAY benefit from keeping an eye on their hubbies around this woman. This isn't to say that these women are doing something noble with the posters, but just for argument's sake.

I totally agree. If women need to warn their friends to protect their husbands from this woman than there is a much larger problem here. I love it when the woman is always blamed. Where is the flyer about the husband or any of the other men she slept with. It takes two to cheat.

Re: Homewrecker?

I think they should do the same with the hubbies. Actually I want to go to the apartment building where my dad is living with his gf (young enough to be his daighter) and take a HUGE larger than life blowup of our family photo and post it on the front door of the building. 'THIS IS A MARRIED MAN WITH A FAMILY' I'd also like to post copies of the thousands of dollars in unpaid bills all over the place. In my case, I'd rather humiliate my dad and let everyone know what an ******* he is, but if I can humiliate his gf in the process, then why not.

I agree with one thing a lot of women do blame the other woman much too much when theyir husbands cheat, as if they had some magical power or something. But if this one woman has broken up like 4or 5 marriages already, (for argument's sake, I have no clue what the details are), then I can see why people would want to rally around her. I'm not saying it's a rational kind of behavior, but I can defintiely understand it, and I think at least these women are somehow empowering themselves...though there are probably a lot more constructive things they can be doing.

Re: Homewrecker?

I have my MIL faxing me the flier tomorrow so I can post the EXACT wording, less teh woman's name....Honestly though, I would probably do the same if I were in this woman's shoes and worse to him. I know girls that have pursued married/attached men without a second thought. It's one thing to be left for another person, but I think it's worse for you to cheat on a person.

I think it's funny. I also agree that it takes two to tango however, any woman who knows that they are going to be getting involved with a married man deserves ALL she gets and I applaud the woman who posted the flyers. Maybe it will make other woman considering such a thing to think twice. I also agree that if it was happening to you, you just might find the humor in it!!

And I really can't believe that a Church would condone this. If I was a parishiner I would leave this Church...I would safe in a Church like that
