Re: Homewrecker?
I hope the details support the flyers. What if she was pursued by the husband who falsely said he was separated? We only know what people tell us and we don't typically hire investigators to verify the statements. The old adage...it takes two to tango.

Re: Homewrecker?
i was once in college point and saw a flyer for a dead beat dad. I guess and I am not saying I agree but people feel they will embaress who hurt them. Maybe all the facts weren't on the flyer but I guess to the wife she had all the facts she needed.

Re: Homewrecker?
That is crazy!!!! A little funny but not. I can understand how upset the woman must be to do something like that.
On a similar note, in college there was a guy that my friend messed around with a little and then she decided she didnt want to be with him anymore. He was so mad at her that he made up flyers that said HER NAME has AIDS - stay away from her and he put her number on there and the phone # to the radio station we volunteered at and all the times she was on the air. He put them all over the school. Thank God he was arrested!

Having BEEN through this. I think it's AWESOME! I haven't seen the flyers (i work in middle village0 but if I see one I'm going to bring one home to my mom.
It reminds me of is it goodfellas 'Superintendent! You a WHORE living in 2R!'
Honestly, I LOVE it. If she is a homewrecker she deserves to have her name dragged through the mud. Honestly, what else is the recourse for these kind of people? There is none
That is my favorite part of that movie

The guy ALWAYS gets off scott free. I totally agree with the posts that say homes don't get wrecked by themselves. The guy has to consent. If she's going after people's husbands, shame on her for sure. But a CHURCH group doing this? Come on!

Re: Homewrecker?
OMG
how childish and how shameful for the church
MY GOD.. how can THEY prosecute a woman so openly and still dare to call themselves christian.. how sickening... how small..how shameful and stupid.
I hope those women pray for forgiveness.
Its not their place to pass judgement on another.
As for the woman ... well if she did wreck a home, then it was wrecked before she got there. If he was happy and content he wouldnt have been tempted? He is to blame. He took the oath.
This is sick
Like those women all have perfect homes.

Re: Homewrecker?
We don't know the whole story, just because these women are going after this woman it doesn't man they're not blaming or going after their husbands. If it's a whole group of women, then this woman must deliberately be going after married men. She's no saint. I think it's great. And if what they're saying is true, truth is an absolutel defense against libel. Good for them.
Honestly, what can you do to someone who does that? You can't prosecute them criiminally, you can't sue them, the ONLY thing you can do is harm their reputation, which if what they're saying is true, the person deserves. I say go for it! And if they want to hang up pics of their loser husbands too, so much the better!
Sorry, haven't been on all weekend. Apparently, my mother in law found this by CVS in MV. SHe said they were everywhere last week. She is from Glendale. I am a little internet obsessed, so I stuck this womans name in Google and I stuck in MV and it comes up with her names in articles about her working at the church and stuff. So she is a real parishoner. If Brian were cheating on me with a woman who KNEW he was married, I would probably want to do the same thing, but who knows if I would. I feel bad for her family though! Like if she has kids and her own husband. I would be mortified!

I feel bad for them being innocent parties maybe being implicated in what's she's doing and they shame they have to go through, but I don't feel bad for HER if her family is finding out what she's doing (if it's true). A lot of times when someone cheats on his or her spouse, the spouse is left feeling humiliated and shamed, it's time the cheatER gets to be shamed.

I didn't see the sign, but I don't see why it couldn't possibly be one woman with one married man, and a group of women coming together thinking they are acting in her defense.
But EVEN IF this woman is a flirt and even if she is a whore, THE MEN HAVE THE OPTION OF SAYING NO! To blame the woman entirely and put little blame on the man is making the man into a brainless, thoughtless being, only led by his crotch. Even if she approached him, any married man took an oath to say no. These small-minded women seem to be enforcing their own version of the scarlet letter, and the woman could probably take them to court for slander and libel.

Wow, talk about the Scarlet Letter!! How typical that these 'churchgoers' are the first casting stones. Whose to say what goes on behind their doors?

Of couse the men ave the option of saying no, and they are the ones with a responsibility to the wives, BUT the mistress is no angel, and I think she deserves to have her reputation marred. Also, truth is an absolutel defense against libel, besides which libel is VERY difficult to prove. She's have to prove that she lost her job over it or something akin to that
ETA: If anyone sees the signs and wants to grab one and mail it to me, or tell me where to find one, I'd appreciate that. I think it's hilarious. I also think the husbands should be next on the posters

I don't know. The whole thing disgusts me, and I have got to say the sign posting more so. People shouldn't have affairs when they are married, that we all agree, but imagine if we all did this when someone wronged us--we could take out ads in newspapers, billboards, etc. I don't really think the signs are a way to warn other women (and what really does that say if they are--lock up your men if you don't trust them as far as you can throw them?), but rather seem like a way of taking out a personal vendetta against the woman. To me how to live a happy life is not one where you spend your days trying to figure out how to get back at those who have wronged you, but rather to live a life where you can sleep knowing you are a good and honest person.
