honesty call.... does anyone really use wedding favors after the wedding?
Original post by Sandy&Ben
IMO no. i have thrown away too many favors over the years and personally, i don't plan on giving them at my wedding (FH and i are making a donation to charity). i'm just wondering if i am alone here - so many brides spend so much time on favors and i feel bad not saying anything b/c i know if i were a guest, it would end up in the trash one day.
this is totally not meant to offend anyone - i just needed to get this off my chest.

LnP2003 - that sounds like an excellent favor! Would you mind FMing me w/an idea of the cost? I'd love to do that for my bridal shower.

I went to a wedding where the favors were Lotto scratch offs. It was fun, because half of the table actually won money and everyone was excited.

Gotta say I usually throw them out. One favor that I loved though was from a Saturday evening wedding, and as you were walking out, you received the Sunday Newsday, along with 2 bagels, cream cheese and jelly, and a beautiful silver butter knife, all wrapped up beautifully. I thought that was such a great idea!
