Honeymoon

Where or where have people gone on their honeymoon?? I have no idea where we wanna go.

I looooove honeymoon and travel talk!!!

There are alot of great plans for honeymoons here, but you really need to let us know what you'd see as an ideal way to start your lives together.

When are you getting married? What kind of budget do you have? What do you like to do? Would you rather veg on a tropical beach or tour a city? There's a big world out there! Something for everyone.

We're taking the veg on a Caribbean beach route (St. Martin, Anguilla, St. Barts), but that may not be for everyone.

Do a search on honeymoons-you'll see lots of wonderful plans in the making. Give some more specifics and we'll help!!

We went to Spain...and had a great time...we combined sightseeing (Bacelona and Madrid) with lying on the beach (Menorca) and visiting family...

We had already gone to Hawaii...but thats a fantastic place...

We were also thinking of Belize or Costa Rica

Our next vacation (after we recover form the wedding expenses) will probably be a cruise of the southern tip of South America and Antartica or an African Safari...

My fiance and i did a lot of researching. We were looking into Fiji, Bali (before that bombing happened) Tahiti and Hawaii. After really looking into all those places and figuring out what we really wanted for our honeymoon. We decided on 10 nights in Bora Bora and Moorea (Tahiti).

Looking around and planning your honeymoon is so much fun!

Has anyone done a Vegas honeymoon? My fiance is dying to do this and I'm just not sure if it's totally cheesy...and if we'll just get lost in a sea of other newleyweds....

What it has going for it is that it's cheap..which is what we need.

Any ideas??

I'm looking into the Bahamas (Sandals Spa & Resort) and Aruba!

I was JUST told this morning that the Dominican Republic is supposed to be GORGEOUS! I'm going to do some research on that - I was told Punta Cana in DR and to research Casa di Campo. Who knows?!

My FI and I went to Punta Cana in DR (last year for vaca.) and stayed at the Catalonia Bavarro. It was really nice, plus it was all inclusive (which is a big plus). The beach is like nothing you've ever seen - especially at night the stars are amazing.

I LOVE Vegas but do not recommend it for honeymoon. After 4 dys, I think it's enough. Just my opinion

You are SOOO RIGHT!!!

I went there 3 years ago and it was amazing!! I stayed right next door at Natura Park..

My good friends are going there for their HM based on my recommendation.. can't wait to see how they like it..

I don;t know where we're going yet.. to be honest, it's the last thing on my mind right now.. We wanted to do Italy, but that's when we were planning on a Sept/OCt. wedding.. now we are stumped..

I do however have a GREAT travel agent.. and she gets the best deals.. do if anyone wants her number let me know.. =)

I went to Punta Cana, DR over a year ago and stayed in the Hodelpha Caribe. I t was a goreous resort and we had a great time.

We're doing a Southern Carribean cruise as we couldn't decide on 1 island, and neither of us had been on a cruise before. We'll probably go back to our favorite island for our 1 year anniversary.
