I need to get a passport for my honeymoon so I wanted to get one now. However, I'm getting married in Nov and not going on my honeymoon till Feb (Have to work around the school calendar).. If I change my name after the weddign will there be a problem with my maiden name on my passport? If its going to be a whole big problem, I may just change my name after the honeymoon. I just wanted to knwo people's opinions. TIA

I don't see it being an issue. I would call the passport office and see what they say.

I was told if you bring your marriage certificate with you, it shouldn't be a problem.
