How much are you planning on spending on your honeymoon? We're thinking a week vacay to St. Lucia and including flights, etc. it's looking like $7,000 is that a crazy amount to spend on one week?!?

I'm going to St Lucia Thursday for a 5 day vacation w/FH-we're only spending about $1K!! Granted it's not our honeymoon and we didn't do any eloborate packages. But i think $7k is a lot!
Airfare for us on Jetblue was only $99 each way! Booked during a great stay; and a lot of the hotels were having sales. We're not staying at Sandas; but i think when i looked they were about $3K for the week. (total for 2 people in a basic room).

i know land is more expensive... but
18 day vaca ( 14 night cruise) airfare, hotel,and cruise $3400
st lucia aruba st maarten bonair curacao barbados antigua and 1 more island

st lucia when we looked (we also looked at crazy places and really expensive rooms) was coming out to about 10k.........this was for 9/10 nights.....
then we looked at hawaii and that was bout 5k before spending.....
we wound up with aruba which is costing us 5k for hotel and air (this includes insurance, tax, etc) and all inclusive, but we are assuming another 2k for food and any activities (we don't plan on eating out for dinner almost every night).......so figure roughly 7k for 10 nights in aruba
