Honeymoon

Is everyone using a travel agent or booking your HM on your own? I dont know which would be better and easier

We are most likely booking our own unless a travel agent can get us a kick a$$ deal!

We tried to book on our own and even asked for the 'perks' and couldn't do it ourselves... Once we called our TA she was able to get us a free night and free private transfer to and from the airport

We got an amazing deal from our ta. She even threw in dinner, couples massage and excursion.

my cousin owners her own company so we'll be booking with her. It might be a good idea to go to an actual person just in case there's a problem while you are away you'll have an actual person - instead of a 1800 number - to contact to help you. Last vaca i was on there was a roach in our room - we called our travel agent he got us upgraded to the better hotel.

I can book everyone elses, just cant figure out where the heck i wanna go myself!

booking thru a TA - I priced it out on our own, and it was more expensive, and we get transfers to n from the airport thru the TA.

good reason, i agree, also you might get something good with a travel agent, but you also have to pay them....I was going through the hotel website and then i went through expedia and it was $1000 cheaper....I wonder which price the TA would have?

We didn't pay ours. She gets commission from her company.

I booked my European honeymoon using a travel agent.

I think we will end up booking through Liberty Travel. We used them in the past to go to Turks and Caicos and they were great. The honeymoon is too complicated to do on our own.
