This might be a silly question but I've never used a travel agent before! When booking through one (most likely Liberty Travel) do you pay for everything as soon as you book???

I had to leave them a deposit for the airline and then paid the rest last week, about two months before or honeymoon

Ours was half now half in July (for sept)
On my credit card it came up 2 payments to delta and one to liberty to make the total deposit

I use Liberty Travel for all my vacations. When you book, you pay in full for the price of the airfare and you leave a deposit for the hotel, usually around $100. You have up until 1 month from the departure date to pay the remaining balance for the trip. There is no interest or anything.

We had to pay a deposit for the hotel but airfare had to be paid in full when we booked it. The rest of the money is due 6 weeks before the trip

Usually you have to pay for any plane tickets upfront but then for a hotel you put a deposit down then most travel agents give you a choice of paying it off slowly or paying it off right before the trip.

If you want a great Travel Agent my Aunt is one!! She is planning our Honey moon and is doing a amazing job. We only had to put 200 down for the portion of honeymoon we already booked. (OWB in Bora Bora). Let me know if you want her info :)

If they get you a better deal then you found online, then it's PIF!
Otherwise it's a deposit and 60 days prior.

BTW, shop around because you can sometimes do better on your own, I learned that booking my Honeymoon!
