Ok- yes- my wedding is a long way off, but my fh and i have been thinking of all the different places to go for our honeymoon. we do not want to go to hawaii- i have been there and he has no desire and we already went to punta cana and loved it. so the question is- where are you guys goig, how did you decide upon it and if you don't mind- please tell what the price range is. we would like to keep it between 2,000- 3,000 (if possible, and it better be!!!) for 10 days or so. plus, we'd like an all inclusive just because it makes life so much easier. thanks in advance for all of your suggestions.

we went away over feb break cause were teachers. 8 days 7 nights Aruba $5300!! and that was one of the cheaper hotels. the high rise hotels like the wyndham and hyatt were about $2000 more! we paid $$$ b/c it was the time of year...

Lizard! haha. Try the one Brett and I went to in November.
We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas for 4 nights (we decided this because we LOVE cruises) and then to Sandals Ocho Rios in Jamaica for 5 nights because we both wanted to see what Sandals was like. Both are running us a total of $4200- $1100 for the cruise, and $3100 for Sandals, airfare included.

If you'd like to stay in that budget I have a good suggestion. My fiance and I went to Breezes in the Bahamas this past May and absolutely loved it. I had done tons of research and this one had the most of what we wanted for the money. The total for 6 days, all inclusive, including airfare, was about $2700. Check out the website, I believe it was a SuperClubs. Wehad an amazing time there and the price is very reasonable.

10 days cruise to Tahiti and the south Pacific islands. For both of us in a mini suite, I think it was 4,000, not bad considering you get all your meals and entertainment. We are also using our sky miles to get to Ca.

We anted to go to Hawaii, but we thought about the money, and even though the trip wouldn't have been ridiculous, we know our spending would have been outrageous. With the help of my parents, we're pretty much having a 2 week honeymoon for $500! We're going to spend a week in Acapulco and another week in Puerto Vallarta and we're going to use my parents time shares to do that. Then my parents are giving us their miles, so our flights from NY to Acapulco and Puerto Valarta to NY will be free, so we'll only have to pay for the internal connection from Acapulco to PVR. We're not staying at an all-inclusive, but with the money we're saving we can pretty much live large the whole time we're there. I'm so excited!!!
