honeymoon - anybody leaving the next morning

we are about to book our honeymoon. only problem is there is only 1 flight a day from NY to aruba. so we have to leave the next morning and the flight is at 9:00 AM

so i guess we have to leave the hotel around 6:00 AM. my FH doesn't seem to care about not geting enough sleep. i just hate flying & won't be able to sleep on the plane.

oh well.. its not a major factor in booking it. Just waiting for FH to get approval from work.

we are waiting till monday or even tuesday (after our saturday wedding). we will have family and friends flying in and it will be a great time for us to spend time with them, possibly even host a casual brunch

You have to decide what's best for you. We're leaving the Monday after, which happens to be 6*09*08 But we have celebrations planned from 6*6-6*8 so we want to be there also on Sunday.

I would love to leave the next morning. I still have to talk to FH about that. He might not be too happy with the idea.

we are getting married on a Saturday and leaving for our honeymoon on Tuesday.

ive been to sandals so many times to see the newlyweds passed out and exhausted their first day on vacation from their wedding the day before and told myself that will not be me!

we're taking the same time flight to the same place as you, but on the day of your wedding

possibly- if we go to italy no, but if we go on a cruise it will be most likely the day after

i would love to leave tuesday,. just so we could settle some things & relax a little. however, FH doesn't have much vacation time.

i guess i can take tylenol PM so i can pass out on the plane.. who knows i may even take valium, i really hate flying

Were leaving the next day at about 12, but we're just going to PA in january, we aren't going on our real honeymoon till June 14th

we are getting married on friday and leaving sat night flight is at 7 pm so we still have time to ome back to our parents and drop off my dress and stuff.

We are getting married Sunday afternoon and while we havent booked our honeymoon yet, we're probably going to take an early Monday morning flight. It's the best option for us (the only realistic direct flight to where we want to go) and we want to have as much honeymoon time as possible! FH doesn't get much time off and we only have a week.

We might go to sleep a little earlier though because of it.

If you dont mind a layover there are flights all day from JFK to Aruba. You can go on American Airlines.com and look at all the flights. The lay over is usually in Miami, FL. Take a look if you get a chance.

Jet Blue also flies to Aruba now.

i'm taking that 9:00am flight from JFK to Aruba also! we are getting married on a sunday and we are on the Monday morning flight. i would have liked to fly out tuesday AM instead but it didnt work out that way ( in that case we'd be coming home july 4th & the price difference was Huge). i figure i will just catch some sleep on the plane... hopefully ;)

We r leaving 3 wks after our wedd. FH is a teach so we cant go during the month of June, we will go in July

depending on where we go..either sunday or monday (our wedding is friday)

both of us want direct flights.. hate lay overs.

i'll just deal with it..sure its worth it. just conk out when we get to the hotel for a few hours

We are getting married on a Sun and leaving mon. Our flight leaves at 7:55 AM .

Our wedding ends at 5:30 pm though.

We are staying in a hotel near the airport so we can just get a shuttle there in the AM.
