We debated for months about this. I didnt want to go to Sandals b/c I felt it was too overpriced for the hype. Finally we decided on Excellence Riviera Cancun and we're getting one more day for about the same price as Sandals was going to cost us.
That's where we went and it was amazing. There are pics in my album.
we went there as well, and loved it!!!

We are going to Riviera Maya too and staying at the Iberostar Resort.
Resorts in the Dominican Republic are basically all all-inclusive. Try looking into Punta Cana.. its beautiful there.

We're going to Negril, Jamaica
one week at the Sunset at the Palms & one week at The Caves - along the ocean cliffs of Negril
Amazing locations but not big 'super club' style
Def worth checking out

I've been to the Royal Decameron Club and Grand Bahamian all inclusives in Runaway Bay Jamaica, and I liked RDC better, even though Grand Bahamian was, as it says, 'Grand' -- the staff wasn't as friendly and it lacked the true 'relaxed' feeling you go to Jamaica for . . . . it was actually a bit stuffy, and the food wasn't that great, whereas RDC had AWESOME food, like 5 meals a day and midnight 'snack' which is a ridiculously large buffet, fun entertainment each night, and a more 'communal' feel, like they all knew us by name (everyone there!) within a day or so, and each weekend is like a family, with welcomes and farewells to guests every night. You could not beat the price and we loved it. It was a simpler, more Jamaican, vacation than our 'five star' trip to GB.

We went to Excellence. It's nice, but we had a few problems.

Ours was part All Inclusive. LOL. We went to Nannai Muro Alto Beach Resort in Brazil. It included bfast and dinner. The food was to die for!!! And during the day they had hordourves passed around the pool and beach area. It didn't include drinks, but they were cheap so it wasn't a big deal. At the end of the 8 days our hotel bill was about $300 and that included 2 massages and like 3 lunches and drinks everyday. If you are willing to go that far, I highly recommend it!!!
