honeymoon help

we are getting married march 26, 2011 and we need to book our honeymoon soon. Any great ideas?

Orig thinking tahiti/bora bora/maldives type thing with an over water bungalow, but probably too much money. It would be great if we could have our own private swim up pool :)

Re: honeymoon help

so funny that you said that he's planning the honeymoon! i just told the same thing to my fiance! i said 'do some research on the honeymoon...i've planned everything else!'

cruises are great. we actually did those on the two big vacations we've been on. most recently this last may from barcelona to the french riviera and italy! it was amazing.

i was actually thinking of st. lucia! any hotel recs?

i didn't know there were over water bungalows in areas other than the south pacific and indian ocean...very interesting.

I wanted to check out tahiti too!!! but. . .it will most definitely be mucho $$$, and I don't think I want to spend a day traveling. I really don't want to spend more than 10 hrs on a flight!

My cousin went to st. lucia, but stayed at sandals. They said they really enjoyed it!! We may look into there, and I was also thinking st. barts.
