HONEYMOON HELP!!!!

Original post by CC430

FH and I are trying to figure out where to go for our honeymoon in May 2011. We went to a travel agent last night and they recommended Sandals. Now we're indecisive between Sandals Negril in Jamaica or Sandals Regency/Grande in St. Lucia... Which one do you recommend????

Not sure about either one but ask Gina (LaBellaVita) they are doing Sandals!

We're doing Sandals Grande Antigua that was our favorite resort..but I was looking at the St. Lucia one and know many people that have gone and loved it ,y only draw back was it is 2 hours from the airport on a windy narrow road I think or you can take a helicopter ride which I am petrified of and I have motion sickness..yea I'm a real winner lol so I need to be knocked out of a flight and that's about it..lol but the resort there is suposed to be amazing! I don't know anything about Jamiaca on my friend had booked there but due to weather or something they switched to Antigua where we are going. HTH!

actually, if you take a plane to the other airport on the island, you can avoid this windy road and its not as long of a ride

Which airport is the closest????

i booked through a travel agency when i went years ago and they had hooked it all up for me. if your use a travel agency, make sure that you ask them to go to that airport. but its the lesser of two evils.
if you go to the airport that is like an hour ride to any of the sandals hotels, you can get a direct flight through american airlines
if you go to the airport that is closer to the resorts, then you will most probably have to have a layover somewhere.

The name of the airports are:
Saint Lucia's Hewanorra Airport (UVF)
and
George Charles Airport (SLU)
but i forget which one is which.

HTH!
