We are looking for you input.... We want to go to an island in like the caribbean...this is what we are looking for
Okay we want an all inclusive, we want to be able to leave the complex to go touring, shopping, dining if we want, we want to go snorkling and non motorized water sports. Activities on the complex would be nice and a little nightlife.
any input would be greatly appreciated

I went on a cruise and one of the stops was at St THomas, I really liked it there, but not really sure about it being all inclusive. St Johns I heard is also nice.

I would go to Fodors.com and look at the summary for each of the islands. Aruba might be good for what you're looking for. Definitely not St. Lucia which is what I'm interested in. It's like really secluded and private there.

I have heard St. Lucia and Turks & Cacios are nice but they are more just for relaxing. A friend recently went to Dominican Republic and you have to be careful where you are because there are some areas that you wont want to leave your resort (I have heard) Aruba is beautiful I have never heard a bad thing about it, Grand Cayman is nice but there isnt much of a night life.
There are alll comments I have gotten, I have never been to any!

Grand Cayman is beautiful - great beaches, alot of nice restaurants and a nice town for shopping. I am not sure about all-inclusives, but I stayed at the Westin there and it was absolutely beautiful! I am sure if you search on yahoo or expedia, you can find out which hotels there are all-inclusive...

I just took my honeymoon cruise and to tell you the truth - Gand Cayman is very expensive. We had the best time in Cozumel Mexico. We want to go back again.

I'm not going to the Caribbean but my resort has what you're looking for so I figured I'd give you the link:
I went there earlier this year and it was great. It's an all inclusive resort with plenty of activities if you want . The beach is beautiful! They also have trips outside of the resort everyday.
I highly recommend going there

This is easy. Aruba.
You can tour the whole entire island alone. Very safe. Even at night you are safe!
They have all that you mentioned too only the nightlife is casinos, dinner cruises, party bus etc.

Sandals Royal Bohemain in the Bahamas also if you go to the Bahamas you have to go to Atlantis in Paradise Island in the Bahmas this place is soo much fun

We loved Aruba too. It has everything your looking for. We can't wait to go back
You can't go wrong with a Sandals. They are all inclusive, have every kind of excursion you can imagine, touring the jungle in a jeep, horseback riding on the sand, to sailing on a Catamoran (sp?). Buses will take and drop you off for shopping trips to the village and depending on which island you go like Jamaica or St. Lucia you can pay for one and visit all 3.
I went there in May and would recommend it highly.
