So... I have 68 days to go and I have NOT booked my honeymoon yet...
I know, I am a HUGE slacker... but its mostly because every time I talk to someone, they talk me into somewhere different.. Where would you go between Atlantis and Aruba?
Hurricanes are a concern for late July and we'd like the option of other things to do than the beach in case we get bored.. Also trying to keep everything under $6k if possible...
Any suggestions from people who have been there are welcome!! thanks!

I have not been to either and both sound beautiful. Perhaps make a list of pros/cons for the 2 and book the winner

well since its hurricane season then i would go with aruba bc of that reason. Plus with aruba you'll have more place to go to and things to do. Although with atlantis you can go to nassau if you wanted to but probably easier to go around to other places in aruba

Also picked Aruba because of Hurricane season. We're staying at Riu- which is comparable to Atlatis in what they offer and very pretty!

I've never been to Atlantis, which I heard is great, but I've been to Aruba and loved it. The weather is almost always perfect so you don't have to worry about hurricanes.

You need to have a nice sit down with FH and go through some pics online, tours, things to do at each place and see which one works out best. AND there is websites that predict hurricanes. I'm sure if you can find out some information on that, it will make your choice easier.

I looove Atlantis- so I voted for that- I think July is early in the hurricane season, so hopefully you will be ok.

Hmmm I havent been to either but have heard great things about both.
Are they similar in price?
Also you may want to consider this - in Aruba you can stay at adult-only places and isnt Atlantis adults and kids? Hmmm I think I would do Aruba if I were you!

I'd go to Aruba. I have been on the beach by Atlantis though and its amazing! But the resort just seems soooo big to me! But really- the beach there is awesome! Aruba is supposed to be amazing as well and they say there are excellent restaurants in the town there!

I've never been to either. But we are actually looking to book our HM this week, and we just decided we REALLY want to add 5 days in Atlantis after a cruise. I looked at pictures.. and It just looks amazing.. So I say atlantis!
