Sitting in this blizzard makes me dream of my honeymoon!! Me and my FH have no clue where we are going to wind up. We are a summer wedding and we will be leaving for 10-14 a few days after our wedding since I have off for summers!

So far we have Bora Bora (a dream but probably not a reality), Fiji, Hawaii, Europe or Greece.

Where are you all going? I want to go some relaxing with a bit of adventure with beautiful water and weather! When do we start booking? Its all so exciting!!

Oooh good idea to fantasize about right now. Are you open to cruising? There are some great ones that leave out of NY if you didn't want to fly.
I think we'll be booking probably by the end of this year.

So funny we were looking at honeymoons too because I was like lets look at somewhere tropical as it snows lol. We also just looked at Bora Bora, Hawaii, Fiji and were thinking about Europe but I think I want more a relaxing laying on a beach and doing nothing :)

My fiance hates flying though and when he saw where Tahiti and Fiji were he was like come one can't you pick somewhere closer! haha So maybe Saint lucia? But I really like Tahiti so if it fits into the budget then he's going to have to suck it up

I think you can book a year out, thats when the flights open. My Future sister-in-law is a travel agent so I just ask her everything lol

I agree with a cruise. You get to see so much and the service on the ship is amazing!! We went on a celebrity cruise in September to Alaska and we are officially converted to being semi permanent cruisers. We'll be doing either a Panama Canal or Western Carribbean cruise for our honeymoon.

I dream about Bora Bora and Fiji but I don't think it could ever be in our budget! I think you can start booking once its a year out. I want to leave a couple of days after the wedding, hopefully the Monday after, so I can just take the consecutive time off instead of going back for a few days and then taking the next week off. I want to go to Hawaii but FH is leaning towards somewhere in the caribbean we haven't been to yet or Costa Rica

We are leaving the day after our wedding and are going on a 12 day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway (it is a new ship launching this year). The cruise goes to San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Kitts.

FH and I went on a cruise that hit all those spots for my graduation present! They're all so beautiful. Horseback riding in St. Lucia was AWESOME! Megan's Bay in St. Thomas is supposed to be stunning but we didn't get a chance to make it there.

FH and I booked our honeymoon. We're going to Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia! We booked through the Sandals website when their rooms wre all 65% off. We ended up getting a 2 story villa with butler service (7 day/6nights) which was definitely out of our price range without the promotion! The promotion went across all Sandals resorts, not just St. Lucia, and it might still be going on if you want to check it out!

I'd LOVE to go to Bora Bora, or somewhere exotic, but I don't know if I can justify to FH (the one who balances the checkbook) spending $10k+ on a vacation, after spending what we are for a wedding. He's adventurous, so I think I could make Costa Rica or Hawaii happen though!! And those places are more than fine by me!

FH and I originally wanted to go to Hawaii but it will be out of our budget. We are going back to Montego Bay, Jamaica where we got engaged on 1/30/13. We stayed at an adults only resort and we loved it!!

FH and I want to go to Italy BAD! Unfortunately, it's going to be freezing there in January. Instead we want to take a mini-moon to somewhere close. Maybe Miami or the Florida Keys (open to suggestions), and by the spring we want to travel down the coast of Italy.

We used to talk about Hawaii but since we are going there in July maybe Jamaica, or Aruba. Fh only must is that we be sitting on a beach somewhere.

FH and I are most likely going to Italy; our wedding is in May and we are going to wait until June to go because of the weather so we can enjoy the beaches!
