Honeymoon Poll

Hope this isn't being too nosey, but how much does the average honeymoon cost.

If you could post an approximate cost and where you are going it would be great.

Re: Honeymoon Poll

A nice honeymoon can range anywhere from $800 to $800,000! Depends on how far you want to go, if you want to go to heavily touristed seasons, when you go (if you're going to the are during their peak season or not), and how much research you do, if you want a cruise...etc.

I'd recommend checking out and luxurylink.com for some great deals if you're flexible.

We're spending what I think will come out to approx. $10K for 18 days in Fiji, but we want to do a lot of things including diving and travelling to 4 islands, and I did a lot of research before booking.

We are spending about $2500 for 7 days/6 nights all inclusive Montego Bay reseort for March 2-8.

We didn't want to spend a fortune on the honeymoon, we were laready spending enough on the wedding. We shopped aorund for teh best deal and teh price has now gone up from when we booked in April.

Re: Honeymoon Poll

We got a steal I think because we are going in January, but we are going for 11 days, ten nights..all inclusive at six different resorts and free tours, motor sports etc. for 4,600 total!!! YEA!!!! We were so happy with that price because we had gotten much higher quotes from other agencies..also if the fare goes down, Liberty Travel credits it back to you!! yEA!!!

Re: Honeymoon Poll

We spent approx. $6000 for two weeks in Hawaii. We had plenty of miles so we saved tremendously on airfare.

Re: Honeymoon Poll

your HM cost can be determined by lots of factors. if you are on a budget, i have found cruises to be extremely reasonable. we're doing a 10 day cruise through the south pacific plus two additional nights in tahiti for a fraction of what people pay who do it all by land.

edited: forget to say - we're paying about $5500 total (airfare, cruise (w/incl food), two nights in hotel in tahiti)

We're going on a crusie that leaves NY. For a week I think we got a good deal for the 2 of us $2000. After we are going to come home a day or two and then maybe do a few days in Conn. or go to Niagra Falls (my parents went there for there HM)

We are going away for 6 nights - the hotel is $165 a night and we are driving - so, about $1000 for hotel and then just paying for meals, shopping, and a few activities.

Re: Honeymoon Poll

We're doing a Bahamas cruise out of NY-NO airfare which is a plus-I hate flying home all upset that you're done with vacation-for 7 days-in a suite then getting a hotel room in the city for aa couple of nights and seeing our fav Broadway show bumming around the city-food is included on the cruise-we are estimating with excursions like scuba and tubing, drinking, transportation for EVERYTHING -9 nights all together-about 4,000. Not bad!

We went to Thailand for 3 weeks. I used my miles so we didn't pay for air fare, The most beautiful beaches! 21 nights, 3 places Bangkok, Ko Samui and Phuket all 5 start hotels $5600. Which I think is so cheap and the dollar the is $43 to our $1.
