For those ladies going to Aruba do you think it is worth going the All-Inclusive route or no? Please take the poll. Also, please suggest hotels!!!

Re: Honeymoon Question
we stayed at the aruba resort, spa and casino and went with the all inclusive package. we had to pay out of pocket surcharges on some dinner items but we still felt the all inclusive was definitely worth it... esp with all those poolside pina coladas!!!

Re: Honeymoon Question
I stayed at allegro all inclusive, it was nice.
as a general rule I prefer all-inclusives if you can, especially on your honeymoon.
You don't want to be thinking about $ and how much its costing you the whole time......plus you usually wind up spending more (if you like to drink)

Re: Honeymoon Question
I agree!! Even if you don't eat dinner at the hotel every night, it is worth it for breakfast, snacks and especially drinks. Someone mentioned a new Riu opening this summer, but I have never been to Aruba. Debating between Aruba and Riviera Maya

I was debating too, I really wanted to go to the Riveria, but I am getting married during Hurricane Season, so we opted for Aruba....

Haven't booked yet, I am trying to figure out if I want to do all inclusive or not. I have just heard there are many resturaunts on Aruba. The only thing they really dont have is Adults Only all inclusive resorts, which the Riveria does have...honestly, I wish we were going to Mexico, but in August it is going to be way too hot. I love the ruins and the history of mexico, but am looking forward to the beautiful beaches of aruba. Planning the honeymoon has been the hardest part of the wedding process!

Re: Honeymoon Question
We did not do All Inclusive. For us, it would have been a waste of money. There are so many amazing restaurants that we would have missed out on if we had done all inclusive. While it can be expensive, for us it was worth it.
We stayed at the Wyndham which is now (I believe) the Westin.

Re: Honeymoon Question
aruba has great restaurants. we didnt go all inclusive, b/c we didnt want to be chained to the hotel. DH also doesnt drink so it would not have been worth it. the food is really great in aruba!

TOTALLY agree. I didn't go on my honeymoon, just a trip, but Aruba has the best food I've EVER eaten while away, I am glad I got to try all the different restaurants.

Re: Honeymoon Question
oh, try bucati resorts in Aruba! I think the website is www.bucati.com. It's adults only- all suites- but not all-inclusive. They have a breakfast included and there is some sort of 'meal plan' option for island restaurants.
They have a section of suites called 'the Tara wing' and it looks really nice. The pics are online!!
There were also some reviews on that hotel so check out the bride's reviews to see if you can get some more information!
Happy Planning!
