we wanted to go to Sandals St. Lucia for ours but we couldnt afford it. Friends of ours go there every year -- they absolutely love it. They fell in love with it on their HM and decided to keep going back. They travel all over the Caribbean (literally they've been like evrywhere) and its in their top 2 places. Dont listen to what those girls said!!!!

thats their opinion. dont stress it. i went there a few years ago and it was fabulous! ok, the water isnt as blue as some of the caribbean islands but whatever! it a gorgeous island with tons of character. you will have a great time.

thanks so much!!!! thats what FILs have done and they go all the time thats the reason we chose to go there plus we were only able to afford it b.c we hit the 50% off deal!!!

I went to st lucia [regency] for our HM last year!
The MOST gorgeous island! Theres no place else I'd rather go!
FM me for more info. Sandals in St Lucia has 3. I'll give u my take on all 3! and which 1 is the best to stay at!

We are doing St. Lucia and only because of all the GREAT reviews from friends and family.
Our wedding planner actaully brought it up first.
PPl who have no clue about anything will prob be the ones to damper your mood. Dont allow them!
We cant wait for St. Lucia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My FH's cousin went on her HM there in March and she is pretty picky and said the place is AMAZING!! You have nothing to worry about for sure.

I've heard St. Lucia is gorgeous! This lady I used to work with went on her HM there and all she kept saying was how great and beautiful it was!

Meg I was in St lucia Aug 06 the water is NOT brown It is beauiful there! driving through i will be honest - its the ghetto! but its like most of these isalnds - but when you are at the resort - the views are beautiful !

This is from a review on the HM board... the water looks nice to me. I've also been told that St. Lucia is the most beautiful of the islands.... I've never been there but I personally, I wouldn't worry! [
like i said driving thorough you def wont think its one of the most beautiful islands.. haha.. its very poor.. but you wont see all that from where you are staying!
I have heard that st. lucia is beautiful! My FSIL booked her honeymoon there as well. Im sure your trip will be wonderful! Don't stress it! Seriously- you will be in the caribbean at an all inclusive resort with your new husband. how bad could it possibly be? I doubt bad at all! Also check out trip advisor reviews. And remember with reviews some people are always looking for something to complain about- but some people give very helpful detailed reviews and post actual pictures from their trip.
Also, there was an episode of Paula Deans where she and her family went to St. Lucia and it looked amazing! And they went and ate at local places and were in some of the towns and it looked fine! I can't see it not being an amazing island!
