I booked mine pretty much as soon as the flights were available, which for March I believe was August . I booked through liberty travel but also checked the internet for the lowest price and they price matched.

Re: honeymoons..
Still have not booked ours!
Starting to stress, hopefully booking by the end of January. FH and I are notoriously last minute vacation planners so 8 weeks in advance would still be pretty early for us HA.

We were not sure if we were going to be able to afford to go on a honeymoon right away. We did not use a travel agent just did all our own research. We spent under $5,000 with everything. We decided to go to Sandals Jamaica since it is an all-inclusive for 6 days 5 nights, we actually just booked last night so 3 months out.

We booked ours in August I think. We're going to Hawaii but its hard for me to comment on budget because we were gifted a timeshare and I'm a frequent flyer so were only paying for three nights in a separate hotel and the connecting inter island flights. I think we'd be at about 6k for the hotels, flights, and rental car plus whatever spending money...before we booked Hawaii I looked into sandals in st. Lucia five days all inclusive was under 4k with flight. Not sure if feb is considered off season or not.

We booked our Hawaiian/Cali honeymoon in September/October. So about 7-8 months out. My fiancé's parents own a Marriott time share, so we booked through the time share.

Ughhh the honeymoon is giving me the hardest time!! We want to buy a house right after the wedding so we decided to forgo the $10k Hawaiian hm. I think we are either going to go to Nantucket for a week after the wedding ( a friend has a house he would let us stay in) or we would go to Puerto Rico rincon so fh can surf...

We are being gifted a time share in Hawaii, but our family friend can't book until February. It works out for us though, we haven't decided on the second half of our honeymoon yet because we are waiting to see the schedule for our football team (we're cowboys fans - go ahead and laugh lol). If they are playing at home between Christmas and New Years, we are going to TX, if not we are heading to CA to visit Disney World. Sorry I'm not much help on pricing - we are being gifted Hawaii and my parents are in the Disney Vacation Club, so if we go to CA we won't have to pay for the hotel there.
