honeymoons under $7000

i need some suggestions. fh and i can not for the life of us make up or minds.. we have a budget of 7000, not including our food and drinks. we're right in the middle of hurrican season, so i wanna stay away from the caribbean. we thought about hawaii b/c fh has always wanted to go there, but to be honest.. i dont. and fh wants us both to be excited about the honeymoon.

so HELP!! our only requirments are; under $7000, minimum of 2 weeks, we dont want to lay on a beach for 2 weeks we will be bored out of our minds! but we do want some relaxation! so maybe a place that offers us a beach, but also sightseeing and entertainment???

maybe europe like greece with some of the sites but then santorini for beach or italy and then capri or positano

we've thought about that, but were not sure if its possible to do europe for 2 weeks under $7000. weve been looking at a whole bunch of places trying to get quotes but its so confusing

I agree. problem is the weak dollar or else you may have been able to do it

have you considered an all-inclusive or making one week of your honeymoon a cruise? that would help keep costs down

we have. the only problem is they're really no all inclusives outside of the caribbean. we had originally thought of staying in sandals whitehouse for 9 days then taking a 7 night carnival cruise.. but the more we thought about it, the more we didnt want to chance going to the caribbean in the middle of august. but fh would love an allinclusive if we could find a nice one

i actually didnt even think of that! i figured since flights arent available for my date yet, travel agents wouldnt be able to help me. i might have to try that out

I am using Dawn's honeymoon destinations. I found her on LIW and she is great!!! Check her out!! we are going to disney for a week and thena cruise for another week.

we are doing sandals st lucia in august -- aruba is supposed to be very safe and st lucia close behind it because they are outside of the hurricane belt. most cruises would probably be going to places that aren't so safe though

my fh and i are going to sandals st. lucia! im pretty sure it was 6000 for 7nights 8 days all inclusive thats also including air fare!!

I work with a lot of Greek women and it seems airfare minimum per person to Greece in the summer is $2000... so that takes away a lot from the honeymoon

Aruba is outside the Hurricane Belt.

The Weston is a great all-inclusive there.

i recommend contacting Travel Tom! when I booked a surprise vacation for FH a couple of months ago, I didn't know where I wanted to go. I had an idea of the type of vacation and the budget and he really ran with it and gave me all of my options. He ONLY posed options that were within my budget. FM me if you'd like his contact info!

That's a healthy honeymoon budget. Lucky you!!

What about Aruba? They're out of the hurricane belt.
