i need some suggestions. fh and i can not for the life of us make up or minds.. we have a budget of 7000, not including our food and drinks. we're right in the middle of hurrican season, so i wanna stay away from the caribbean. we thought about hawaii b/c fh has always wanted to go there, but to be honest.. i dont. and fh wants us both to be excited about the honeymoon.
so HELP!! our only requirments are; under $7000, minimum of 2 weeks, we dont want to lay on a beach for 2 weeks we will be bored out of our minds! but we do want some relaxation! so maybe a place that offers us a beach, but also sightseeing and entertainment???

we have thought about aruba, but ive been before, and we both wanna go someplace we've never been.
we priced out some european cruises and it came out to around 4600 with tax for both of us not including airfare.. so we might end up doing that. and the cruise takes us to greece, italy and egypt which covers everything we had wanted to see!!

Also Curacao and Bonaire are beneath the hurricane belt near Aruba... FSIL went there for her HM and said it was gorgeous.
Try the pacific side of Mexico like Cabo, Puerto Vallarta... It is out of the Hurrricane belt as well. Of course that doesn't guarantee no hurricanes at all either.

There weren't as many as the carribean has seen. I do remember that bad one a few years ago which is why i said that cabo doesn't guarantee no hurricanes... but i was there in july into august the year before the hurricane and it was fine.

greece & spain/portugal are both pretty reasonable. of course the dollar is weak in europe, but you'll save $ in those places on hotel and spending in comparison to other european locales.

if you want all inclusive check out The Royal Hideway in Playa De Carmen Mexico..... reasonable rates and i heard at times cheaper than sandals.... i think you can book with arifare included..... here is the website RealResorts
